Learn AREIS at the Library

The Lucas County Auditor's office and the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library are sponsoring
"Learn AREIS at the Library" classes at Main Library on April 29, 2008, July 29, 2008, and October 29, 2008.
Each class participant receives hands on training using the newest version of the AREIS DVD Viewer.
Choose between an 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. morning and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. afternoon class.

Topics include:
- Differences between Online and DVD viewer programs.
- How to make best use of search capabilities to customize information needs.
- Find out what types of information/ data are available to either application.
- Best use of research tools offered by the DVD viewer to customize data needs.
- Determine which combination of tools to utilize for research, analysis, and output.
- AREIS Online tools: locator map, report manager: data, map, and search folders, etc.
- AREIS Online features: structure photos and structure sketches.
- AREIS DVD Viewer features and tools: sales wizard, export wizard, buffer and measuring tool, accessing the structure photos, etc.

The Main Library is providing free parking for the duration of the class.
